Detroit-area Congressman introduces 'Read the Bills Act' requiring a seven-day wait before voting on bills

U.S. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Milford) on Monday introduced legislation that would require Congress to wait seven days after a bill is posted online before voting to pass it, his office announced.

Saying his "number one priority" is constituent services, Congressman Kerry Bentivolio is taking his office on the road, including a stop in Birmingham on Tuesday.
